My name is Mrs. Brody Meier and I am currently the K-12 Special Education Coordinator, K-12 Resource Room Teacher, and 504 Coordinator in Leola, SD. In January I will begin my 7th year teaching in Leola. I got married to my best friend Kyle in 2017. We have 2 wonderful children Greyson (4) and Ryleigh (2). We currently reside in Aberdeen, SD. We love being with family, playing with our children, and spending time with our friends.
I am originally from Bloomington, MN, home of the Mall of America. I had the privilege of growing up in such a large community, and I believe that experience gave me the patience needed for this job. I never thought I would end up in a small town, but I absolutely love the community aspect that is found throughout Leola.
I graduated from Northern State University in 2015 with a bachelor's degree and double major in K-12 Special Education and Elementary Education. I started my journey of obtaining a Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction in December of 2021. I always enjoy furthering my education so I can better the lives of the students in the school and my classroom.
